NEW: Rhepanol hfk-bs, the advanced Rhepanol hfk with improved fire protection
Rhepanol hfk-bs is a hot-air weldable roofing membrane based on PIB with integrated fire protection for all roof pitches.
The new roofing membrane is a further development of the proven Rhepanol hfk and is equipped with improved fire protection. It can be used for all roof pitches and, thanks to its polyester and glass fleece lamination, can be laid directly on EPS insulating materials without a fire protection layer. The hot-air-weldable roofing membrane is weather-resistant even without additional surface protection, extremely durable and remains flexible even at temperatures of -40 °C. The roofing membrane can be laminated with a polyester or glass fleece without fire protection layer. In terms of ecology and sustainability, it has all the advantages of a PIB membrane.
Rhepanol hfk-bs is equipped with a 1.0 mm thick lamination of polyester and glass fleece and a fleece-free edge and is available in the membrane dimensions 15m x 1.50m x 2.5 mm (nominal thickness of the sealing layer 1.5 mm).
Connections can be made with Rhepanol hsg or Rhepanol hfk. The accessories from the Rhepanol h family are fully compatible with the Rhepanol hfk-bs.
Rhepanol hfk-bs is suitable for almost all applications. It can be fixed mechanically, glued in strips with FDT roofing membrane adhesive (without fire protection layer directly on EPS insulating materials) or laid under ballast, with the exception of green roofs.
Rhepanol hfk-bs is free of plasticizers, chlorine, halogen, bitumen and PVC. A further advantage is the resistance to flying sparks and radiant heat according to DIN CEN/TS 1187 according to official test certificates for roof structures tested by FDT for roof pitches above 20°.
