Being the oldest synthetic roofing membrane in the world, Rhepanol^® fk provides an extremely long service life proven by numerous ageing tests carried out on the premium roofing membrane. However, the flat roof specialists from Mannheim would never settle for just pure theory. And that is why, on a regular basis, the engineers have Rhepanol^® fk roof waterproofings installed on "ordinary" objects surveyed by the State Material Testing Institute (MPA) Darmstadt. A summary of the results can be found in a recently published new Rhepanol^® fk Roof Report.The new brochure contains information on three different buildings. What they have in common, though, is the Rhepanol^® fk waterproofing installed 25 or even more years ago. According to the findings of the independent engineers of the MPA Darmstadt, the high quality membranes even today still meet the requirements for new materials. The materials testing was carried out in accordance with DIN 16731 defining the requirements for new synthetic PIB roofing membranes. Whether having been exposed to weathering 25, 27 or 30 years, once again the test results confirmed the real-life durability and long-term reliablity of Rhepanol^® fk for all relevant features. Ultimately, the practically proven Rhepanol® fk membranes are as good as on the first day.
